DHWANI DODIA

Every idea has a truth. I breathe that truth into design that moves people and the market.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

A Mumbai-based brand designer with five years of experience decoding the math of design through strategy, emotion, and craft in the beauty, F&B and alcohol space. I strive to design for a future where businesses, people, and the planet thrive together. Every project starts with one question: what story are we telling, and why must we tell this story?

FAQ's?

Dhwani, what’s your creative process like?
icon

I start by romanticizing the brief, then I cry a little (a lot) (creatively), overthink fonts and coffee ratios, eventually find the idea, deliver it and somehow still want to do it all over again.

Dhwani, what do you do when you’re not overthinking fonts?
icon

Mostly overthinking life while finishing my last gym set, chasing deadlines, living my 20s, and hitting protein goals all at once. Occasionally, I just exist. That counts as design research.

Dhwani, are you secretly a narcissist for putting your own name everywhere?
icon

No (okay, maybe a little). I just believe humans die, ideas live forever, and I want my name to live too. Wouldn’t you? Also, I stole this idea from Daniel Spatzek.

Dhwani, why do you talk about design like it’s a religion?
icon

Because to me, design is the simplest act of consideration. It is connecting feelings, rationales, and behaviour in one breath. Design thinking is like decorating time; it’s how the world thinks, trades, feels, and evolves. I just happen to pray in Pantone.

Dhwani, is it really that deep?

No.
